The Linx RT-418-CMD Remote Command Unit is designed for general purpose remote controlfunctions. The transmitter unit provides eight manually operated pushbuttons which send a fixedcode upon depression.The transmitter may be paired with various Linx receiver modules toaccommodate a variety of common periodic remote control functions.Battery replacementThe remote unit utilizes a CR-2032 Button Lithium Cell. In normal use it will provide 1-2 years ofoperation. Access for replacement is accomplished by removing the screw in the middle of theback cover.Setting the transmitter addressIn order to allow the formation of unique Transmitter/Receiver relationships the transmittersaddress may be selected using internal DIP switches.The switches are accessed by removing therear cover as for battery replacment.INSTRUCTION TO THE USERThis equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device,pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules These limits are designed to provide reasonable protec-tion against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, usesand can radiate radio frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance with theinstructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is noguarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
