4. Set the phone or device to search for Bluetooth™ devices within and select the speaker. 5. Turn the speaker on. The blue light will flash until paired. 6. Once paired, a tone will sound. The speaker is now ready for listening to music or answering calls Note: Some mobile phones or other devices may pair automatically when re-started. Answer / Reject / End a call During a call, the ring is heard through the speaker when paired. 1. Press and release the power button to answer the call. 2. Play / Pause In the process of playing music, press and release the power button to pause or play music. AUX-in Mode (Plugging in a phone or music player) Plug one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX cable into the smart phone of music player’s headphone or speaker jack and plug the other end into the TEK175. The speaker will beep and music will play automatically. Operate the song selections and volume from the smart phone or other device. Precautions • Please only use the computer USB or the DC 5V power adaptor matching the Micro USB interface to charge. • Please keep and use in normal environments. Exposure to extreme elements such as high heat, fire, water, or other extreme elements may damage the unit. Do not touch with wet hands. • Keep debris or other items from blocking the speakers or from entering any of the ports. • Do not attempt to open or take apart this speaker. The speaker will be damaged during that process. • If the speaker quality seems lessened, or a slight popping noise is heard, it may be due to low battery. Please recharge the speaker. • If the item becomes hot, smokes, or smells like it is burning, discontinue use immediately. This is a sign of malfunction. • Keep out of reach of children. TROUBLESHOOTING No Sound • Make sure that the music player is working and that the speaker is charged. • Make sure the Bluetooth™ is paired or the AUX 3.5mm cable is plugged in properly on both ends. • Make sure the TEK175 is in the proper mode and not already paired with another device. Not charging Check to make sure that you are using the correct cable and that it is fully plugged into both the device and the USB port that you are charging from. Also check to make sure the PC or other USB charger is turned on.
