CommandsMost people use the communication softwareprograms to tell modems what to do. Therefore,you may not use the commands in this chapter.However, if you prefer to communicate with yourmodem directly, you can type the commandsdescribed below.This chapter describes how to work in theterminal mode.Typing CommandsUse the BACKSPACE key to delete typingerrors.Every command (except A/ and +++) mustbegin with the AT or at prefix and beentered by pressing the <Enter> key. Forexample, to execute the V command, youwould type ATV and press the <Enter> key.When you see an n, replace the n with oneof the letter or numeric options listed for that            command.
