GBDU99 is a plug and play Bluetooth USB adapter that can be used in stereo (A2DP) and voice (HSP) modes. The GBDU99 complies with Class 1 output power, which provides up to 100 meters (330 feet) of range. With the GBDU99 and a PC, you can enjoy wireless music entertainment and VOIP calls at a flip of a switch.IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS8. CleaningThe device should be cleaned with a dry cloth.9. Pair/Connect Button4. USB connector413 2GETTING STARTEDPairing with a new Bluetooth device1. Pairing a Bluetooth headsetSwitch the GBDU99 to Voice Mode. Select pairing mode by holding the Pair/Connect Button for 3 seconds or until the LED begins to flash red and blue. (If you are using the GBDU99 for the first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode.)Now place your headset in pairing mode according to its user instructions. Once paired, the GBDU99 will flash blue. If there was an error, it will flash red and you should repeat the pairing instructions.2. Pairing Bluetooth headphones or speakersSwitch the GBDU99 to Music Mode. Select pairing mode by holding the Pair/Connect Button for 3 seconds or until the LED begins to flash red and blue. (If you are using the GBDU99 for the first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode.)Now place your headphones or speakers in pairing mode according to its user instructions. Once paired, the GBDU99 will flash blue. If there was an error, it will flash red and you should repeat the pairing instructions.GETTING STARTEDPlug GBDU99 into USB-enabled deviceThe GBDU99 is a plug and play Bluetooth audio device. There is no need to load software onto your PC and the GBDU99 will not interfere if your PC already has Bluetooth. To get started, plug the GBDU99 into an unused USB port.1. If it is the first time you have used the GBDU99, the adapter will automati-cally enter pairing mode and the LED indicator will flash red and blue. The GBDU99 will stay in this mode until a device is paired. See "Pairing with a new Bluetooth Device" in the next section. You must pair a Bluetooth headset while the GBDU99 is switched to Voice Mode in order to make VOIP calls. You can pair Bluetooth headphones or speakers while the GBDU99 is switched to Music Mode to enjoy wireless music.2. If you have already paired a device, the adapter will search for the last four devices it was connected to. It is best that you turn on your headset or headphones before connecting the GBDU99 to your PC. If the GBDU99 does not locate your headset or headphones, it will enter Standby Mode. If you cannot connect your previous device, go through the pairing instructions.USB InterfaceGETTING STARTEDOption for music function or voice functionSlide the Music/Voice Switch at the different position for the different feature.Voice mode: USB communication interface is selected. Adapter disconnects from any previous A2DP device if necessary and then GBDU99 enters discoverable state if no paired devices in memory, otherwise searches for last HSP device.Music mode: USB audio interface is selected. Adapter disconnects from any previous HSP device if necessary and then GBDU99 enters discoverable state if no paired devices in memory, otherwise searches for last A2DP device.Active connection with a disconnected Bluetooth deviceIf the Bluetooth device is disconnected from GBDU99, you can press the Pair/Connect Button less than 3 seconds to connect the last device actively, which is fit for both Music mode and Voice mode.
