Um die vielfältigen Funktionen Ihres neuen Fahrradcomputers kennen zu lernen und anwenden zu können, lesen Sie bitte diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. 6www.sigmasport.com2 MONTAGE DES SIGMA ROX 8.1 UND SEINE ACCESSOIRESIn montiertem Zustand ist der SIGMA ROX 8.1 bei jedem Aufwachen aus dem Schlafmodus mit den jeweiligen Sendern – Geschwindigkeit, Trittfrequenz und Herzfrequenz – synchroni-sierungsbereit.Bei der Synchronisierung mit dem Geschwin-digkeitssender, blinkt die Geschwindigkeits-anzeige im Display. Sobald die Anzeige nicht mehr blinkt, hat sich der SIGMA ROX 8.1 mit dem Geschwindigkeitssender synchronisiert und zeigt die aktuelle Geschwindigkeit an.Der Trittfrequenzsender und der Brustgurt synchronisieren sich parallel dazu automa-tisch. In den Favoritenmenüs (A und/oder B) wird der jeweilige Wert im oberen DOT-Matrix Block angezeigt, sobald die entsprechende Synchronisierung durchgeführt ist.2.5.1 SYNCHRONISIEREN DER GESCHWINDIGKEITHierzu gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten:k Losfahren, i. d. R. hat sich der Empfänger nach 3 Radumdrehungen mit dem Sender synchronisiert.k Vorderrad drehen, bis die KMH Anzeige nicht mehr blinkt.2.5 DIE SYNCHRONISIERUNGDarüber hinaus ermöglicht Ihnen der ROX 8.1 die Synchronisierung manuell zu starten. k Durch lang gedrückt halten der unteren, rechten Taste, starten Sie die neue Synchronisierung. „Synchro Reset Taste 2 Sek. drücken“ erscheint dann im Display.2.5.2 SYNCHRONISIEREN DER TRITTFREQUENZHierzu gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten:k Losfahren, i. d. R. hat sich der Empfänger nach 3 Pedalumdrehungen mit dem Sender synchronisiert.k Pedale nach unten und oben bewegen, bis die aktuelle Trittfrequenz angezeigt wird.2.5.3 SYNCHRONISIEREN DES BRUSTGURTESBrustgurt anlegen. Bitte bewegen Sie sich in die Nähe des SIGMA ROX 8.1 oder steigen Sie auf Ihr Rad. I. d. R. synchronisiert sich der SIGMA ROX 8.1 mit dem Brustgurt in weniger als 10 Sekunden.Der aktuelle Puls erscheint dann im Display.
7DEROX 8.1Im Lieferzustand befindet sich der SIGMA ROX 8.1 in einem so genannten Tiefschlaf-Modus. Um diesen Modus beenden zu können, muss eine beliebige Taste 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt werden. Danach folgen Sie den Anweisungen im Display.3 ALLES ÜBER DEN SIGMA ROX 8.13.1 FIRST WAKE-UPn Beliebige Taste 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.n Gewünschte Sprache mit +/- Taste auswählen und mit „SAVE“ speichern.n Die Anzeige springt auf das Hauptmenü „Favoriten A“.3.2 NAVIGATIONSPRINZIP DES SIGMA ROX 8.1Der SIGMA ROX 8.1 umfasst bis zu 5 Menü-ebenen. Bei der Navigation durch die Menüs und Untermenüs des SIGMA ROX 8.1 sollten Sie sich immer am Baumdiagramm in Kapitel 3.5 orientieren.Die Menüführung des SIGMA ROX 8.1 wird dem Benutzer durch eine Navigationsebene wesentlich vereinfacht. Durch einmaliges Drücken einer der beiden oberen Funktions-tasten, erscheint automatisch die Navigations-ebene. In dieser Ebene werden die möglichen Tastenfunktionen der oberen beiden Tasten angezeigt um:k In die nächste tiefere Ebene zu gelangen (ENTER);k Zurück in die nächste höhere Ebene zu gelangen (BACK);k In eine andere Ebene im Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen (NEXT);k Eine Einstellung zu bestätigen/speichern (SAVE/DONE).Bestätigen Sie die in der Navigationsebene angezeigte Funktion innerhalb von 2 Sekunden mit einem weiteren Klick.Diese Navigationsebene ist standardmäßig im SIGMA ROX 8.1 aktiviert. Falls Sie nach längerer Anwendung des SIGMA ROX 8.1, diese Navigationsebene nicht mehr benötigen, können Sie diese im Einstellungsmenü deaktivieren.3 ALLES ÜBER DEN SIGMA ROX 8.1

9DEROX 8.13 ALLES ÜBER DEN SIGMA ROX 8.1Dieser Block zeigt unterschiedliche Informationen, je nach dem in welchem Menü Sie sich befinden.3.4.1 OBERER DOT-MATRIX BLOCK3.4.1.1 FAVORITEN A UND BHier können bis zu 4 aktuelle Werte angezeigt werden:k Die aktuelle Höhe (permanent)k Die aktuelle Neigung (permanent)k Der aktuelle Puls (nur, wenn der Brustgurt angelegt wurde)k Die aktuelle Trittfrequenz (nur, wenn der Trittfrequenzsender montiert ist).Beim Drücken der oberen rechten Taste, kann die Anzeige geändert werden, so dass nur noch eine der insgesamt 4 Funktion angezeigt wird.3.4.1.2 NAVIGATIONSEBENEWenn die Funktion aktiviert ist, erscheint die Navigationsebene immer durch einmaliges Drücken einer der beiden oberen Funktionstasten. In der Navigationsebene werden die möglichen Tastenfunktionen ange-zeigt. Nach dem Sie mit dem Gerät und dessen Funktionen vertraut sind, haben Sie die Möglichkeit im Menüpunkt „Einstellung“ die Navigationse-bene auszuschalten (Einstellen/Gerät/Tasten Info).3.4.1.3 INFORMATIONSLEISTEDer obere DOT-Matrix Block, also die so genannte „Informations-leiste“ hilft Ihnen bei der Orientierung der Ebenen. Dies gilt für folgende Menüebenen: „Tourdaten“; „Zeit“; „Speicher“; „Einstellen“.Im oberen Teil des Displays wird das Hauptmenü angezeigt, im unteren Teil das Untermenü, in welchem Sie sich gerade befinden.

12 www.sigmasport.com3 ALLES ÜBER DEN SIGMA ROX 8.1Der SIGMA ROX 8.1 ist ein sehr umfang-reiches Gerät, welches ermöglicht, ein Rennen/Training bestens zu planen, zu verfolgen und auszuwerten.3.6.1 FUNKTIONSUMFANGDer SIGMA ROX 8.1 ist mit sehr vielfältigen Funktionen ausgestattet.Neben den klassischen Fahrradfunktionen besitzt der SIGMA ROX 8.1 zusätzlich Puls-, Höhe- und Neigungsfunktionen, damit ist eine Übersicht über die wichtigsten Tourendaten gewährleistet.Der SIGMA ROX 8.1 ermöglicht nicht nur eine Auswertung der Tourendaten, er verfügt auch über Eigenschaften, die seine Benutzung vereinfachen. (Favoriten, Navigationsebene u.v.m.)3.6 WELCHE FUNKTIONEN UND EIGENSCHAFTEN HAT DER SIGMA ROX 8.1?3.6.2 BEWEGUNGSSENSORDer SIGMA ROX 8.1 ist mit einem Bewegungs-sensor ausgestattet. Dieser Bewegungssensor hat 2 unterschiedliche Aufgaben:k Der automatische Start/Stoppk Die Höhenmessung.Dank des Bewegungssensors, erwacht der SIGMA ROX 8.1 bei kleineren Bewegungen des Fahrrades auf (vorausgesetzt, der SIGMA ROX 8.1 ist bereits auf der Halterung montiert). Demnach ist kein Tastendruck notwendig, um ihn zu aktivieren.Der Bewegungssensor korrigiert die aktuelle Höhe automatisch und der SIGMA ROX 8.1 speichert die aktuelle Höhe bevor er in den Schlafmodus geht. Beim nächsten Aufwachen wird die zuletzt gespeicherte Höhe übernom-men, ungeachtet der möglichen Luftdruck-änderungen. Im Falle eines Ortswechsel, und ohne dass der SIGMA ROX 8.1 auf die Halterung montiert ist, registriert der Bewe-gungssensor die Bewegungen des SIGMA ROX 8.1 und macht in regelmäßigen Abstände eine Luftdruckmessung. Dadurch aktualisiert sich die Höhe des SIGMA ROX 8.1 während der Fahrt zum nächsten Ort. Dies bedeutet, dass eine Kalibrierung am Zielort nicht mehr zwingend notwendig ist.Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei einer Fahrt im Auto, die Luftdruckmessung durch die Klimaanlage beeinträchtigt wird und zu unpräzisen Messungen führen kann.
13DEROX 8.13 ALLES ÜBER DEN SIGMA ROX 8.1Durch die individuelle Programmierung der zur Verfügung stehenden „Favoriten“, ist es möglich ein „Klicken“ während der Fahrt zu vermeiden.In den Favoriten speichern Sie die notwendigen Tourenfunktionen, die Sie während der Fahrt brauchen. Sie können in den jeweiligen Favoriten bis zu 10 Positionen belegen.Nun brauchen Sie nicht mehr durch 30 Funktionen und 5 Ebenen während der Fahrt zu klicken, sondern nutzen nur, die von Ihnen individuell zusammengestellten Funktionen. Somit können Sie sich komplett auf die Fahrt konzentrieren.3.6.4 AUSBLENDEN DER WERTE WÄHREND DER FAHRTWährend der Fahrt sind die nicht zwingend erforderlichen Funktionen ausgeblendet. So stehen Ihnen die 2 Favoriten Menüs und alle Tourendaten zur Verfügung.Alle andere Hauptmenüs – „Speicher“ und „Einstellen“ – sind ausgeblendet.3.6.3 FAVORITEN3.6.5 7 TOUREN3.6.6 PC SCHNITTSTELLEDer SIGMA ROX 8.1 verfügt über einen Datenspeicher: Hier können Sie nahezu alle Tourendaten, wie im SIGMA ROX 8.1 Display dargestellt, selektiv speichern. Es sind bis zu 7 Touren speicherbar.Wie bereits erwähnt ist der SIGMA ROX 8.1 PC-fähig, das heißt, er kann an den PC an- gebunden werden. Die optionale „Docking Station“ ermöglicht das Senden der gespei-cherten Daten vom SIGMA ROX 8.1 an Ihren PC.Sie können auch die Einstellung des SIGMA ROX 8.1 am PC vornehmen, danach werden die Daten auf den Fahrradcomputer übertra-gen. So können Sie Ihren SIGMA ROX 8.1 schnell und einfach einstellen, ohne durch alle Menüebenen klicken zu müssen.
14 www.sigmasport.com4 INBETRIEBNAHME4 INBETRIEBNAHME4.1 VERLASSEN DES SCHLAFMODUSDer SIGMA ROX 8.1 wird bei jeder Erschüt-terung des Fahrrades geweckt. Falls der SIGMA ROX 8.1 nicht auf die Halterung mon-tiert ist, wird er erst durch einen Tastendruck (einer beliebigen Taste) geweckt.4.2 FUNKTIONSUMFANG DES SIGMA ROX 8.1k Der SIGMA ROX 8.1 ist ein vielseitiger Fahrradcomputer. Neben den klassischen Fahrradfunktionen, kann der SIGMA ROX 8.1 auch die Trittfrequenz, den Puls und die Höhe/Neigung messen.k Alle Funktionsbereiche – Fahrrad, Puls, Höhe – sind in weitere Bereiche unterteilt, in denen alle einzelnen Funktionen abzu- lesen sind. k Alle aktuellen Werte – momentane Geschwindigkeit, aktuelle Höhe, aktueller Puls, aktuelle Trittfrequenz und aktuelle Neigung – sind im großen 6-zeiligen Display einfach und permanent abzulesen.k Der SIGMA ROX 8.1 verfügt auch über klassische Fahrradcomputer Merkmale wie beispielsweise 2 einstellbare Radgrößen, die automatisch erkannt werden (mit Hilfe des Geschwindigkeitssenders), einen automatischen Start/Stopp und eine Kalibrierung der Höhe mit 3 unterschied- lichen Möglichkeiten.

16 www.sigmasport.com5 FUNKTIONSBESCHREIBUNG (Funktionen, die während der Fahrt eingeblendet sind)Es handelt sich hier um einen separate Streckenzähler (wahlweise Strecke + oder Strecke -). Dieser Streckenzähler ermöglicht ein Intervalltraining oder eine Fahrt nach Roadbook. Bei aktiviertem Lichtmodus, wird mit jedem Tastendruck das Licht angeschaltet und leuchtet 3 Sekunden lang – vorausgesetzt, es wird keine Taste innerhalb dieser 3 Sekunden gedrückt. Um diese Luftdruckveränderung zu kompen-sieren, müssen Sie eine Referenzhöhe im SIGMA ROX 8.1 eingeben (die so genannte Kalibrierung).Sie können die Kalibrierung auch manuell vornehmen. Die aktuelle Höhe wird gebraucht, wenn Sie mit Ihrem Fahrrad unterwegs sind und eine Höhenangabe vorliegt.k Der Luftdruck auf Meereshöhe Für den Fall, dass Sie sich an einem unbekannten Ort befinden (keine Angabe der aktuellen Höhe vorhanden), können Sie den so genannten „Luftdruck reduziert auf Meereshöhe“ eingeben, um die aktuelle Höhe zu kalibrieren. Den Luftdruck redu- ziert auf Meereshöhe können Sie im Inter- net (z.B. www.meteo 24.de), in der Tages- zeitung oder am Flughafen nachlesen.ACHTUNG: Der Luftdruck Ihrer Wetterstation ist der aktuelle Luftdruck, nicht der Luftdruck reduziert auf Meereshöhe! Für die Luftdruck-messung sind drei Löcher auf die Unterseite des SIGMA ROX 8.1 vorgesehen. Diese Löcher müssen immer offen bleiben und benö-tigen deswegen eine regelmäßige Reinigung. 21DEROX 8.15.8 SONDERFUNKTIONENDer ROX 8.1 ist mit einer neuen Funktion ausgerüstet: der LEISTUNGSBERECHNUNG.Die Errechnung der Leistung basiert auf einer im ROX 8.1 hinterlegten Formel.Die hierbei errechnete Leistung ist die Lei-stung, die gebraucht wird, um das Fahrrad zu bewegen, nicht die Leistung, die auf die Pedale wirkt.Um die Leistung zu ermitteln, müssen ver-schiedene Werte in den ROX 8.1 eingegeben werden: Gewicht des Rades und des Radfah-rers, Fahrradtyp und Position des Fahrers auf dem Rad, Körpergröße und Schulterbreite des Fahrers. 5.8.3 LEISTUNGSBERECHNUNG – WIE FUNKTIONIERT DAS?Die angezeigten Leistungswerte sind Annähe-rungswerte und werden unter Annahme einer durchschnittlichen Windgeschwindigkeit und mittleren Straßenbeschaffenheit errechnet. Die Leistung wird bei einer Steigung genauer berechnet, bei einer ebenen Strecke werden durchschnittswerte zur Berechnung heran-gezogen. 40 www.sigmasport.com2 ASSEMBLING THE SIGMA ROX 8.1 AND ITS ACCESSORIESOnce active, the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is ready for synchronization with the transmitters – speed, cadence, and heart rate.During speed synchronization the speed portion of the display flashes. Once pairing is complete, the display stops flashing and the SIGMA ROX 8.1 shows the current speed. The cadence transmitter and the chest belt automatically synchronize at this time. Once synchronization is complete, the respective values are shown in the top of the section of the display after you enter either “Favorite A” or “Favorite B” menus.2.5.1 SYNCHRONIZING THE SPEEDThere are 2 ways to synchronize speed:k Begin cycling – the receiver will normally synchronize with the transmitter after 3 revolutions of the wheel.k Spin the front wheel until the kmh/mph display stops flashing.2.5 SYNCHRONIZATIONMoreover, the ROX 8.1 enables you to start the synchronization manually.k You can start the new synchronization by pressing and holding the lower right button. “Press Synchro Reset button for 2 seconds” then appears on the display.2.5.2 SYNCHRONIZING THE CADENCEThere are 2 ways to synchronize cadence:k Begin cycling – the receiver will normally synchronize with the transmitter after 3 revolutions of the pedals.k Move pedals up and down until the current cadence is displayed.2.5.3 SYNCHRONIZING THE CHEST BELTPut the chest belt on.Move towards the SIGMA ROX 8.1 or climb on your bike. Generally the SIGMA ROX 8.1 will synchronize with the chest belt within 10 seconds.Your current pulse will appear in the display.

(Favorites, navigation level etc.)3.6 WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS AND PROPERTIES OF THE SIGMA ROX 8.1?3.6.2 MOTION SENSORThe SIGMA ROX 8.1 is equipped with a motion sensor. This motion sensor has 2 different tasks:k Automatic start/stopk Measuring the altitudeBecause of the motion sensor, the SIGMA ROX 8.1 switches on when it detects slight movements of the bike (provided that the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is already fitted into the bracket). Therefore, there is no need to press a button to activate it.The motion sensor automatically corrects the current altitude and the SIGMA ROX 8.1 stores the current altitude before going into sleep mode. On reactivation, the last altitude stored is adopted, regardless of any changes in air pressure. If there has been a change of location and the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is not fitted to the bracket, the motion sensor registers the movements of the SIGMA ROX 8.1 and measures the air pressure at regular inter-vals. This process updates the altitude on the SIGMA ROX 8.1 during the ride to the next location. That means that it is no longer necessary to calibrate the computer at your destination.Note: Please note that air conditioning use will impact air pressure measurements of the SIGMA ROX 8.1. This may lead to inaccurate measurements if driving to the start of a ride.
47US/GBROX 8.13 EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SIGMA ROX 8.1To avoid “clicking” through numerous display options during your ride, you can personalize the settings on your SIGMA ROX 8.1 by using the favorites availableYou use the favorites to save the chosen trip functions that you want to see during the ride. You can store up to 10 items in each of the favorites.Now you no longer need to click through 30 functions and 5 levels during the ride. You see the functions that you customized. This means that you can fully focus on the ride!3.6.4 HIDING THE VALUES DURING THE RIDEThe functions that are not essentially required are hidden during the ride. This means that your 2 favorite menus and all trip data are at your disposal. All other main menus – “Memory” and “Setting” - are hidden.3.6.3 FAVORITES3.6.5 7 TRIPSThe SIGMA ROX 8.1 has a memory: This can be used to selectively store almost all of your trip data, as shown on the SIGMA ROX 8.1 display. Up to seven trips can be stored.As mentioned above, the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is PC-compatible, meaning that it can be connected to a PC. The docking station (optional) allows the saved data to be sent from the SIGMA ROX 8.1 to your PC.You can also program the SIGMA ROX 8.1 through your PC. Once you enter the appropriate settings into the SIGMA SPORT® software on your PC, the data will be transferred to the bicycle computer. In this way you can set your SIGMA ROX 8.1 quickly and simply, without having to click through all the menu levels.3.6.6 PC INTERFACE

When the light is enabled, the light switches on with every press of a button and stays on for 3 seconds - provided no other button is pressed during these 3 seconds. Every change in the weather means a change in the air pressure, which can lead to a change in the current altitude. To compensate for this change in air pressure, you must enter a reference altitude in the SIGMA ROX 8.1 (so-called calibration).You can also perform the calibration process manually. Please read the following explanations for how to do the calibration process manually:5.8.2 CALIBRATING THE ALTITUDEThe SIGMA ROX 8.1 offers 3 different forms of calibration:k 3 home altitudes The home altitude is the altitude at your usual start location (usually where you live). You can find this value on street plans or maps. It is set in the SIGMA ROX 8.1 once and can be calibrated in just a few seconds. In the SIGMA ROX 8.1, you have the option of setting 3 different home altitudes.k The current altitude The current altitude is the altitude at your current location, regardless of your starting altitude (where you start your ride, a mountain lodge or other locations). The current altitude is needed when you are on the road with your bike and an altitude indication is present.k The air pressure at sea level If you are at an unknown location (no indication of the current altitude available), you can enter the so-called “air pressure reduced to sea level” in order to calibrate the current altitude. You can find the air pressure reduced to sea level by searching “current sea level pressure” in your preferred web browser, in newspapers or at airports.ATTENTION: The air pressure on your weather station is the current air pressure, not the pressure reduced to sea level!There are three holes underneath the SIGMA ROX 8.1 for air pressure measurement. 55US/GBROX 8.15.8 SPECIAL FUNCTIONSThe ROX 8.1 is equipped with a new function: The PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT.The calculation of performance is based on a formula lodged within the ROX 8.1.Here the calculated performance is the power that is needed to move the bike, not the power acting on the pedals.To evaluate performance, several values have to be entered in the ROX 8.1: Weight of the bike and the cyclist, bike type and position of the cyclist on the bike, cyclist’s height and shoulder width.5.8.3 PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT – HOW DOES IT WORK?The performance values shown are approximate figures and are calculated assuming an average wind speed and average road quality. When doing so, please make sure that the sealing ring is always correctly positioned before closing the battery compartment.Can another person with another bicycle computer/heart rate monitor cause interference?The digital transfer system is encoded. This almost completely rules out mutual interference between two units. When synchronizing the receiver with the transmitter, make sure that there are no other SIGMA ROX units nearby.How long does the battery last in the transmitter, receiver?The battery life depends on how often the unit is used and on the use of the light manager. As a rule, all the parts on the SIGMA ROX 8.1 – receiver and all 3 transmitters – are designed so that the battery lasts at least 1 year (based on 1 hour‘s use per day).Is the transmission system compatible with the DTS system?The transmission system on the SIGMA ROX 8.1 has been developed separately from the existing DTS system and therefore is not compatible.The altitude changes even though I remain at the same location, why?The altitude measurement on the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is based on a barometric altitude measurement. As the barometric pressure changes continually, this can lead to a change in the current altitude, even though you are not moving. However, the SIGMA ROX 8.1 is equipped with a system that freezes the current altitude when the unit goes into sleep mode. We can therefore guarantee a constant, current altitude, provided the unit is not regularly moved.Why do I always have to calibrate the current altitude?As we use the barometric pressure to determine the current altitude, the continual changes in the current air pressure lead to changes in the current altitude. To compensate for these continual changes and to achieve a current altitude reading that is accurate to within 1 meter, a reference altitude should be entered in the SIGMA ROX 8.1 before every ride. Dès que l’affichage ne clignote plus, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 est synchronisé avec l’émetteur de vitesse et indique la vitesse actuelle. L’émetteur de cadence et la ceinture thoracique se synchronisent automatiquement en parallèle. 75FRROX 8.1A la livraison, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 se trouve dans un mode dit de “veille profonde”. Pour quitter ce mode, maintenez une touche au choix appuyée pendant 5 secondes. (favoris, niveau de navigation, etc.)3.6 FONCTIONS ET PROPRIÉTÉS DU SIGMA ROX 8.13.6.2 DETECTEUR DE MOUVEMENTLe SIGMA ROX 8.1 est équipé d’un détecteur de mouvement. Le détecteur de mouvement remplit 2 tâches différentes :k Démarrage/Arrêt automatiquek Mesure de l’altitudeGrâce au détecteur de mouvement, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 quitte le mode veille au moindre mouvement du vélo (à condition que le SIGMA ROX 8.1 soit déjà monté sur son support). Il n’est donc pas nécessaire d’appuyer sur une touche pour l’activer.Le détecteur de mouvement corrige l’altitude et le SIGMA ROX 8.1 enregistre l‘altitude actuelle avant de passer en mode veille. Lors de l’activation suivante, la dernière altitude enregistrée est reprise, peu importe les éventuelles modifications de la pression atmosphérique. En cas de déplacement survenu alors que le SIGMA ROX 8.1 n’était pas monté, le capteur enregistre les mouvements du SIGMA ROX 8.1 et mesure régulièrement la pression atmosphérique. L’altitude du SIGMA ROX 8.1 est ainsi actualisée pendant le déplacement vers le lieu suivant. Cela signifie qu’un calibrage n’est plus absolument obligatoire sur le lieu de destination.Note : Il est à noter que, en cas de déplacement en voiture, la mesure de la pression atmosphérique peut être faussée par la climatisation et des mesures imprécises peuvent en résulter.

Jusqu’à 10 positions peuvent être créées dans les différents favorits.Il n’est donc plus nécessaire de naviguer entre 30 fonctions et 5 niveaux, mais bien uniquement d’utiliser les fonctions réglées individuellement. Vous pouvez ainsi totalement vous concentrer sur votre tour.3.6.4 MASQUAGE DES VALEURS PENDANT LE TOURLes fonctions n’étant pas impérativement nécessaires sont masquées pendant le tour. Les 2 menus favorits et toutes les données du tour sont disponibles. Tous les autres menus principaux - “Mémoire” et “Régler” - sont masqués.3.6.3 FAVORIS3.6.5 7 TOURSLe ROX 8.1 de SIGMA dispose d‘une mémoire de données : Presque toutes les données des parcours s‘affichant à l‘écran du ROX 8.1 de SIGMA peuvent être enregistrées de manière sélective. Jusqu‘à 7 parcours peuvent être enregistrés.Comme déjà mentionné, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 est compatible PC ; cela signifie que celui-ci peut être connecté à un ordinateur. La station d‘accueil (en option) permet d’envoyer les données enregistrées par le SIGMA ROX 8.1 au PC.Il est également possible de régler le SIGMA ROX 8.1 sur le PC ; les données sont ensuite transmises au compteur. Celui-ci est préprogrammable et peut passer d‘une fonction de comptage à une fonction de décomptage sans devoir accéder aux réglages principaux.Optimisation du changement de vitessePar “Développement”, on entend la distance parcourue par un vélo à chaque tour de pédalier.Pédaler avec un développement important et à une cadence réduite permet de mettre l‘accent sur la puissance. Pédaler avec un développement réduit et à une cadence élevée permet de mettre l‘accent sur la fréquence cardiaque.Ces indications peuvent vous aider à doser efficacement vos efforts en montée. Lorsque l’éclairage est activé, celui-ci s’allume à chaque pression sur une touche et reste allumé 3 secondes – à condition qu’aucune touche ne soit appuyée dans les trois secondes. Lorsque vous activez l‘éclairage, l‘affichage reste sur la même fonction. Chaque changement de temps entraine un changement de la pression barométrique, ce qui peut amener au changement de l‘altitude actuelle. Afin de compenser les changements de la pression atmosphérique il faut rentrer une altitude de référence dans le SIGMA ROX 8.1 (c‘est ce que l‘on appelle le calibrage).Vous pouvez effectuer le calibrage manuellement. Pour calibrer le compteur manuellement, reportez vous aux explications ci-dessous:5.8.2 CALIBRAGE DE L’ALTITUDELe SIGMA ROX 8.1 vous offre 3 types de calibrage différents :k 3 altitudes de départ L’altitude de départ est l’altitude de votre lieu de résidence habituel (généralement, votre domicile). Vous pouvez prélever cette valeur d‘une carte routière ou topo- graphique. Celle-ci est réglée une seule fois dans le SIGMA ROX 8.1 et peut être calibrée en quelques secondes. Avec le SIGMA ROX 8.1, vous avez la possibilité de régler 3 altitudes de départ différentes.k Altitude actuelle L’altitude actuelle est l’altitude du lieu dans lequel vous vous trouvez actuellement, indépendamment de votre altitude de départ (le lieu de départ de votre tour, un refuge ou tout autre lieu). L’altitude actuelle est utilisée lorsque vous êtes en route avec votre vélo et qu’une indication de l’altitude est disponible.k Pression atmosphérique au niveau de la mer Dans la mesure où vous vous trouvez dans un endroit inconnu (sans indication de l’altitude), vous pouvez saisir la “pression atmosphérique réduite au niveau de la mer pour calibrer l’altitude actuelle”. La pression atmosphérique réduite au niveau de la mer est disponible sur internet, dans les quotidiens ou à l’aéroport.ATTENTION : La pression atmosphérique de votre station météo est la pression atmos-phérique actuelle ; pas la pression atmos-phérique réduite au niveau de la mer.Pour la mesure de la pression baromètrique, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 a trois petits trous sous la carcasse. Ces trous doivent toujours rester ouverts et doivent être régulièrement nettoyés. Ne pas appuyer avec un objet pointu dans les trous!
89FRROX 8.15.8 FONCTIONS SPECIALESLe ROX 8.1 est doté d‘une nouvelle fonction : la MESURE DE PUISSANCE.Le calcul de puissance se base sur une formule enregistrée dans le ROX 8.1.La puissance ainsi calculée est la puissance requise pour déplacer le vélo et non la puissance exercée sur les pédales.Pour déterminer la puissance, différentes valeurs doivent être définies dans le ROX 8.1 : poids du vélo et du cycliste, type de vélo et position du cycliste sur celui-ci, taille et largeur des épaules du coureur.5.8.3 MESURE DE PUISSANCE – COMMENT CELA FONCTIONNE-T-IL ?Les valeurs affichées pour la puissance sont des valeurs approximatives et sont calculées sur la base d‘une vitesse moyenne du vent et de routes de qualité moyenne. La puissance est calculée avec plus de précision en montée ; à plat, des valeurs moyennes sont utilisées pour le calcul.Ce chapitre explique toutes les fonctions et propriétés du SIGMA ROX 8.1 vous permettant de l’utiliser efficace.6.1 FAVORIS A ET BLes favoris A et B sont deux zones dans lesquelles vous pouvez programmer les fonctions les plus importantes pour vous. Veuillez noter que le joint doit toujours être correctement remis en place avant de fermer le compartiment à piles.Une autre personne utilisant un compteur cycle/une cardiofréquencemètre peut-elle causer des perturbations ?Le système de transfert digital est codé. Il est donc presque impossible que deux appareils causent des perturbations entre eux. Lors de la synchronisation du récepteur avec l’émetteur, veillez à ce qu’aucun autre SIGMA ROX ne se trouve à proximité.Quelle est la durée de vie des piles de l’émetteur/du récepteur ?La durée de vie des piles dépend de la fréquence d’utilisation et de l’utilisation de la gestion de l’éclairage.En règle générale, toutes les pièces du SIGMA ROX 8.1 – le récepteur et les trois émetteurs – sont conçues de sorte que les piles résistent au moins 1 an (calculé pour une utilisation d’une heure par jour).Le système de transmission est-il compatible avec un système DTS ?Le système de transmission du SIGMA ROX 8.1 est une nouvelle version du système DTS existant et n’est donc plus compatible.L’altitude change alors que je reste au même endroit. Pourquoi ?La mesure de l’altitude du SIGMA ROX 8.1 se base sur la mesure barométrique de l’altitude. La pression atmosphérique barométrique changeant en permanence, l’altitude actuelle peut changer alors que je ne bouge pas.Cependant, le SIGMA ROX 8.1 est équipé d’un système “gelant” l’altitude actuelle lorsque l’appareil se trouve en mode “Veille”.Nous pouvons ainsi garantir une altitude actuelle constante à condition que l’appareil ne soit pas régulièrement déplacé.Pourquoi dois-je toujours calibrer l’altitude actuelle ?L’appareil utilisant la pression atmosphérique barométrique pour déterminer l’altitude actuelle, les modifications constantes de la pression atmosphérique peuvent modifier l’altitude. Pour compenser ces modifications constantes et garantir une précision de 1 mètre pour l’indication actuelle d’altitude, une altitude de référence doit être indiquée au SIGMA ROX 8.1 avant chaque départ. 108 www.sigmasport.com2 MONTAGGIO DI SIGMA ROX 8.1 E ACCESSORIUna volta montato, ogni volta che esce dalla modalità riposo SIGMA ROX 8.1 è pronto per sincronizzarsi con il sensore desiderato: velocità, frequenza di pedalata e frequenza cardiaca.Effettuando la sincronizzazione con il sensore di velocità il display visualizza la velocità con una scritta lampeggiante. Quando la scritta non lampeggia più SIGMA ROX 8.1 è sincronizzato con il sensore di velocità e indica la velocità attuale. Il sensore della frequenza di pedalata e la fascia toracica si sincronizzano a loro volta automaticamente. (Preferiti, livelli di navigazione ed altro)3.6 FUNZIONI E CARATTERISTICHE DI SIGMA ROX 8.13.6.2 SENSORE DI MOTOSIGMA ROX 8.1 è dotato di un sensore di moto che svolge 2 diverse funzioni:k Start/Stop automaticok Rilevamento dell’altitudineGrazie al sensore di moto SIGMA ROX 8.1 entra in funzione al minimo movimento della bici (se SIGMA ROX 8.1 è già montato sul supporto). Non occorre quindi premere un tasto per attivarlo.Il sensore di moto corregge l’altitudine attuale memorizzandola prima che SIGMA ROX 8.1 passi nella modalità riposo.Alla successiva riattivazione viene rilevata l’ultima altitudine memorizzata, indipendentemente dalle eventuali variazioni della pressione atmosferica. Se ci si sposta senza montare SIGMA ROX 8.1 sul supporto il sensore di moto registra i movimenti di SIGMA ROX 8.1 ed esegue a intervalli regolari una misurazione della pressione atmosferica. In questo modo durante la corsa l’altitudine del SIGMA ROX 8.1 viene aggiornata nel luogo successivo. Ciò significa che non è più indispensabile una calibratura nel luogo della meta.Nota: si consideri che quando si viaggia in auto la pressione atmosferica viene falsata dal condizionatore d’aria e può generare misurazioni inesatte.
115ITROX 8.13 TUTTO SU SIGMA ROX 8.1Grazie alla programmazione personalizzata dei “Favoriti” non è più necessario “cliccare” durante la corsa.Nei favoriti si possono salvare le sole funzioni di training che vi occorrono durante la corsa fino a un massimo di 10 voci.Non dovrete quindi cliccare tra 30 funzioni e 5 livelli ma potrete utilizzare solo le funzioni personalizzate concentrandovi quindi totalmente sulla corsa.3.6.4 NASCONDI I VALORI DURANTE LA CORSADurante la corsa le funzioni non necessarie vengono nascoste. Avete quindi a disposizione i 2 menu preferiti e tutti i dati del training. Tutti gli altri menu principali – “Memoria dati” e “Impostazione” – non sono visualizzati.3.6.3 FAVORITI3.6.5 7 TOURIl SIGMA ROX 8.1 dispone di una memoria dati: In essa è possibile memorizzare in modo selettivo pressoché tutti i dati del percorso, come visualizzato sul display del SIGMA ROX 8.1. Possono essere memorizzati fino a 7 percorsi.Ricordiamo quindi che SIGMA ROX 8.1 è PC compatibile, vale a dire che può essere collegato al PC. La “Docking Station” (opzione) consente di trasmettere al vostro PC i dati memorizzati da SIGMA ROX 8.1.È possibile anche impostare i dati di SIGMA ROX 8.1 direttamente nel PC e poi trasferirli al ciclocomputer. È programmabile in precedenza e può essere impostato su + o - senza dover attivare le impostazioni principali.Ottimizzazione del cambioCon sviluppo metrico si definisce la distanza percorsa da una bicicletta con un giro dei pedali.Se si guida con uno sviluppo metrico maggiore e una frequenza di pedalata inferiore, questo momento è contraddistinto dallo sforzo. Ogni cambiamento meteo comporta una variazione della pressione, che a sua volta può deter-minare una modifica dell’altitudine attuale. Per compensare questa variazione della pressione atmosferica occorre inserire in SIGMA ROX 8.1 un’altitudine di riferimento (la cosiddetta calibratura).La calibratura può essere eseguita anche manualmente. Per eseguire la calibratura manuale seguite queste indicazioni:5.8.2 CALIBRATURA DELL’ALTITUDINESIGMA ROX 8.1 vi offre 3 diverse opzioni di calibratura:k 3 altitudini di riferimento L’altitudine di riferimento è l’altitudine nel luogo consueto dal quale si parte (di solito la propria abitazione). Questo valore può essere ricavato dalle cartine stradali e geografiche. Basta impostarlo una sola volta in SIGMA ROX 8.1 e può essere calibrato in pochi secondi. Con SIGMA ROX 8.1 si possono impostare 3 diverse altitudini iniziali.k L’altitudine attuale L’altitudine attuale è l’altitudine del luogo in cui attualmente vi trovate, qualunque sia la vostra altitudine iniziale (luogo di inizio del training, una baita di montagna o altri luoghi). L’altitudine attuale viene utilizzata quando siete in giro e conoscete l’altitudine alla quale vi trovate.k La pressione atomsferica a livello del mare Se vi trovate in un luogo sconosciuto (non avete indicazioni dell’altitudine attuale), potete inserire la cosiddetta “pressione atmosferica ridotta al livello del mare” e calibrare l’altitudine attuale. I dati della pressione atmosferica ridotta al livello del mare sono reperibili in internet nei giornali oppure in aeroporto.Attenzione: la pressione atmosferica della vostra stazione meteo è la pressione atmosferica attuale, non quella ridotta al livello del mare! Per la misurazione della pressione dell‘ aria sono previsti tre fori sulla parte inferiore del SIGMA ROX 8.1, che devono restare sempre aperti e necessitano di una pulizia regolare. Non esercitare alcuna pressione sul foro di misurazione con un oggetto appuntito!
123ITROX 8.15.8 FUNZIONI SPECIALIIl ROX 8.1 è dotato di una nuova funzione: la MISURAZIONE DELLA PRESTAZIONE.Il calcolo della prestazione si basa su una formula memorizzata nel ROX 8.1.La prestazione così calcolata è la potenza necessaria per spostare la bicicletta, non la potenza che agisce sui pedali.Per valutare la prestazione, è necessario inserire valori diversi nel ROX 8.1: Peso della ruota e del ciclista, tipo di bicicletta e posizione del ciclista sulla bicicletta, statura e larghezza delle spalle del ciclista.5.8.3 MISURAZIONE DELLA PRESTAZIONE – COME FUNZIONA?I dati riportati della prestazione sono indicativi e vengono calcolati ipotizzando una velocità media del vento e delle condizioni stradali medie. La prestazione viene calcolata in modo più preciso nelle salite, sui percorsi in pianura si utilizzano dati medi per il calcolo.Questo capitolo illustra le funzioni e le caratteristiche complete di SIGMA ROX 8.1 per pedalare efficiente.6.1 FAVORITI A E BI favoriti A e B sono due segmenti in cui potete programmare le vostre funzioni principali. In entrambi i favoriti vi sono determinate funzioni preimpostate, che però possono essere cambiate a piacimento. I due favoriti possono contenere al massimo 10 funzioni in tutto. Non lavare la fascia COMFORTEX+ a secco. Ne la fascia ne il sensore sono adatti al trattamento nell‘asciugatrice. Stendere la fascia per asciugare. Non torcere, distendere a forza o appendere la cintura quando ancora bagnata. Prima di richiudere il vano batterie accertarsi sempre che la guarnizione sia posizionata correttamente.Un’altra persona con un altro ciclocomputer/cardiofrequenzimetro può disturbare l’apparecchio?Il sistema di trasmissione digitale è codificato per cui è pressoché escluso il rischio di un reciproco disturbo tra due apparecchi. Durante la sincronizzazione del ricevitore con il sensore accertarsi che non vi siano altri apparecchi SIGMA ROX nelle vicinanze.Quanto tempo dura la batteria nel sensore, ricevitore?La durata della batteria dipende dalla frequenza e dal tipo di utilizzo del manager luci. Di norma tutti i componenti del ricevitore SIGMA ROX 8.1 ed i 3 i sensori sono dotati di una batteria che garantisca una durata minima di 1 anno. (calcolata con un uso di 1 ora al giorno).Il sistema di trasferimento dati è compatibile con il DTS?Il sistema di trasferimento dati di SIGMA ROX 8.1 è un aggiornamento dell’attuale sistema DTS e quindi non è più compatibile.L’altitudine cambia anche se sono fermo nello stesso posto, perché?Il rilevamento dell’altitudine di SIGMA ROX 8.1 si basa su una misurazione barometrica. Dal momento che la pressione atmosferica barometrica varia continuamente, pur restando fermo può variare anche l’altitudine attuale. Tuttavia SIGMA ROX 8.1 è dotato di un sistema che fissa l’altitudine attuale quando l’apparecchio passa in “modalità risposo”. In questo modo possiamo garantire un’altitudine attuale costante purché l’apparecchio non venga mosso continuamente.Perché devo sempre calibrare l’altitudine attuale?Dal momento che per definire l’altitudine attuale utilizziamo la pressione atmosferica barometrica, le continue variazioni della pressione atmosferica attuale comportano altrettante variazioni dell’altitudine attuale. Per compensare queste continue variazioni e raggiungere la tolleranza di 1 metro nell’indicazione dell’altitudine attuale, prima di ogni corsa si dovrebbe indicare al SIGMA ROX 8.1 un’altitudine di riferimento. 142 www.sigmasport.com2 MONTAJE DEL SIGMA ROX 8.1 Y DE SUS ACCESORIOSSi está montado, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 está listo para sincronizarse con los correspondientes transmisores: transmisor de velocidad, de frecuencia de pedaleo y de frecuencia cardíaca, toda vez que salga del modo de espera.En la sincronización con el transmisor de velocidad, el indicador de velocidad parpadea en el display. Una vez que la indicación ha dejado de parpadear, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 se ha sincronizado con el transmisor de velocidad y muestra la velocidad actual. El transmisor de la frecuencia de pedaleo y la correa pectoral se sincronizan automáticamente en forma paralela. En los menús de Favoritos (A y/o B) se muestra el valor correspondiente en el bloque superior de la matriz de puntos, ni bien haya sido ejecutada la sincronización correspondiente.2.5.1 SINCRONIZACIÓN DE LA VELOCIDADPara ello hay 2 posibilidades:k Poner en marcha, por lo general, el receptor se ha sincronizado con el transmisor tras tres vueltas de la rueda.k Girar la rueda delantera hasta que la indicación KMH ya no parpadee.2.5 SINCRONIZACIÓNAdemás el ROX 8.1 le posibilita iniciar manualmente la sincronización. k Manteniendo presionada la tecla inferior derecha se inicia la nueva sincronización. Luego aparece en la pantalla “Presionar la tecla Synchro 2 seg.”.2.5.2 SINCRONIZACIÓN DE LA FRECUENCIA DE PEDALEOPara ello hay 2 posibilidades:k Poner en marcha, por lo general, el receptor se ha sincronizado con el transmisor tras tres vueltas del pedal.k Mover los pedales hacia abajo y hacia arriba hasta que aparezca la frecuencia de pedaleo actual.2.5.3 SINCRONIZACIÓN DE LA CORREA PECTORALColóquese la correa pectoral.Muévase cerca del SIGMA ROX 8.1 o súbase a su bicicleta.Por lo general, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 se sincroniza con la correa pectoral en menos de 10 segundos.El pulso actual aparece entonces en el display.
143ESROX 8.1En el estado de suministro, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 se encuentra en un modo denominado “de sueño profundo”. Para poder finalizar este modo debe presionarse cualquier tecla durante 5 segundos. Siga posteriormente las indicaciones del display.3 TODO LO QUE NECESITA SABER ACERCA DEL SIGMA ROX 8.13.1 FIRST WAKE-UPn Mantenga presio-nada cualquier tecla durante 5 segundos.n Seleccione el idioma deseado con la tecla +/- y guarde con “SAVE”.n La indicación salta al menú principal “Favoritos A”.3.2 PRINCIPIO DE NAVEGACIÓN DEL SIGMA ROX 8.1El SIGMA ROX 8.1 comprende hasta 5 niveles de menús. Cuando navegue a través de los menús y de los submenús del SIGMA ROX 8.1 debería orientarse siempre con el diagrama de árbol del capítulo 3.5. A través de un nivel de navegación, el seguimiento del menú del SIGMA ROX 8.1 se le facilita significativamente al usuario. Presionando una sola vez alguna de las dos teclas de función superiores, aparece automáticamente el nivel del menú. En este nivel se muestran las posibles funciones de las dos teclas superiores para:k Ir al siguiente nivel inferior (ENTER)k Volver al siguiente nivel superior (BACK);k Ir a otro nivel del menú de ajuste (NEXT);k Confirmar/guardar un ajuste (SAVE/DONE).Confirme la función que se muestra en el plano de navegación con un segundo clic en un lapso de 2 segundos. (Favoritos, nivel de navegación y mucho más)3.6 ¿QUÉ FUNCIONES Y PROPIEDADES POSEE EL SIGMA ROX 8.1?3.6.2 SENSOR DE MOVIMIENTOEl SIGMA ROX 8.1 está equipado con un sensor de movimiento. Este sensor de movimiento tiene 2 funciones diferentes:k Inicio/Parada automáticosk Medición de la altura.Gracias al sensor de movimiento, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 se activa (despierta) con pequeños movimientos de la bicicleta (siempre que esté ya esté montado en el soporte). Por lo demás no hace falta presionar ninguna tecla para activarlo.El sensor de movimiento corrige automática-mente la altura actual y el SIGMA ROX 8.1 la almacena antes de ir al modo de espera. Al activarse nuevamente se toma la última altura almacenada independientemente de las posibles modificaciones de la presión de aire. Si se cambia de lugar, sin que el SIGMA ROX 8.1 este montado en el soporte, el sen-sor de movimiento registra los movimientos del SIGMA ROX 8.1 y hace una medición de la presión de aire a intervalos regulares. Con ello se actualiza la altura del SIGMA ROX 8.1 durante la marcha hacia el siguiente destino. Esto implica que ya no será estrictamente necesario calibrar en el lugar de destino.Indicación: Tenga en cuenta que en un viaje en auto la medición de la presión de aire esta influenciada por el aire acondicionado y puede conducir a mediciones imprecisas.

Puede ocupar hasta 10 posiciones en los favoritos correspondientes.Ya no necesita hacer clic a través de las 30 funciones y 5 niveles durante la marcha, sólo deberá utilizar las funciones individuales que ha seleccionado. Esto le permite concentrarse completamente en la marcha.3.6.4 OCULTAMIENTO DE LOS VALORES DURANTE LA MARCHADurante la marcha, las funciones que no son estrictamente necesarias permanecen ocultas. Así, usted dispone de 2 menús de Favoritos con todos los datos de la travesía. Este contador de tramos permite un entrenamiento a intervalos o una marcha conforme a un libro de rutas. Es programable y se puede cambiar de + a – sin tener que ingresar a los ajustes principales.Optimización del cambio de marchaPor desarrollo se entiende el tramo que recorre una bicicleta durante un giro de manivela.Si se anda con un mayor desarrollo y con menor frecuencia de pedaleo, en ese momento andará acentuando la fuerza. Si en cambio anda con un menor desarrollo y con mayor frecuencia de pedaleo, en ese momento andará acentuando la frecuencia.Estos datos le ayudarán a utilizar su fuerza en una pendiente ascendente de manera óptima. Todo cambio de clima implica una modificación de la presión atmosférica, lo que puede conducir a la modificación de la altura actual.Para compensar esta modificación de la presión atmosférica debe ingresarse una altura de referencia en el SIGMA ROX 8.1 (la denominada “calibración”).También puede realizar la calibración de manera manual. Obtendrá la explicación necesaria para realizar la calibración manual en las siguientes explicaciones:5.8.2 CALIBRACIÓN DE LA ALTURAEl SIGMA ROX 8.1 le ofrece 3 formas diferentes de calibración:k 3 Alturas iniciales La altura inicial es la altura de su lugar habitual de partida (generalmente su lugar de residencia). Puede obtener este valor de mapas callejeros o carreteros. Se ajusta una sola vez en el SIGMA ROX 8.1 y puede calibrarse en pocos segundos. El SIGMA ROX 8.1 le permite ajustar 3 alturas iniciales diferentes.k La altura actual La altura actual es la altura del lugar en el que se encuentra actualmente, independientemente de su altura inicial (el lugar de inicio de su travesía, una cabaña en la montaña o cualquier otro lugar). La altura actual se utiliza cuando se encuentra en camino con su bicicleta y existe un dato de la altura.k La presión atmosférica a nivel del mar En el caso de encontrarse en un lugar desconocido (y no contar con ningún dato acerca de la altura actual) puede ingresar la denominada “Presión de aire reducida al nivel del mar” para calibrar así la altura actual. La presión atmosférica reducida al nivel del mar la podrá encontrar en Internet en el periódico o en el aeropuerto.ATENCIÓN: ¡La presión atmosférica de su estación meteorológica es la presión atmosférica actual y no la presión atmosférica reducida a nivel del mar! Para la medición de la presión atmosférica se utilizan tres orificios en la parte inferior del SIGMA ROX 8.1. Estos orificios siempre tienen que permanecer abiertos y por eso necesitan una limpieza regular. No pulsar el orificio de medición con ningún objeto con punta.
157ESROX 8.15.8 FUNCIONES ESPECIALESEl ROX 8.1 está equipado con una nueva función: la MEDICIÓN DE RENDIMIENTO.El cálculo de la potencia está basado en una fórmula que se encuentra en el ROX 8.1.La potencia que aquí se calcula es la potencia que se utiliza para mover la bicicleta, no es la potencia que actúa sobre los pedales.Para obtener la potencia se deben ingresar diferentes valores en el ROX 8.1: peso de la bicicleta y del ciclista, tipo de bicicleta y posición del ciclista en la bicicleta, estatura y ancho de hombros del ciclista. 5.8.3 MEDICIÓN DE POTENCIA – ¿CÓMO FUNCIONA?Los valores de la potencia mostrados son valores aproximados y se calculan teniendo en cuenta una velocidad del viento promedio y características de calles medias. La potencia se calcula más precisamente en un ascenso, en un tramo plano se toman en el cálculo valores promedio.En este capítulo se explican todas las funciones y propiedades del SIGMA ROX 8.1 6.1 FAVORITOS A Y BLos favoritos A y B son dos ámbitos en los cuales usted puede programar previamente sus funciones personales más importantes. Incluso pueden presionarse las teclas.Aún así, si entrara agua al interior del SIGMA ROX 8.1, retire la batería de inmediato y séquela, por ej. sobre el calefactor. Tenga en cuenta que la junta anular esté correctamente posicionada antes de cerrar el compartimiento para baterías.¿Puede otra persona con otro ordenador de bicicleta/pulsómetro ocasionar fallas?El sistema de transmisión digital está codificado. Con esto se excluye por completo la interferencia entre dos aparatos. Cerciórese de que no haya ningún otro aparato SIGMA ROX en las inmediaciones del lugar en el que se realice la sincronización del receptor con el transmisor.¿Qué vida útil tiene la batería en el transmisor/receptor?La vida útil de la batería depende de la frecuencia de uso y del uso del regulador de luz. Por lo general, todas las piezas del SIGMA ROX 8.1 (el receptor y los 3 sensores) están concebidos para que la batería dure al menos 1 año (calculado en base a una hora diaria de uso).¿Es compatible el sistema de transmisión con el sistema DTS?El sistema de transmisión del SIGMA ROX 8.1 es un desarrollo posterior del sistema DTS y por lo tanto ya no es compatible.La altura se modifica aunque permanezca en el mismo lugar. ¿Por qué?La medición de altura del SIGMA ROX 8.1 se basa en una medición de altura barométrica. Como la presión atmosférica barométrica se modifica permanentemente, esto puede provocar una modificación de la altura actual por más que no me mueva.De todas maneras, el SIGMA ROX 8.1 está equipado con un sistema que congela la altura actual cuando el aparato entra en “modo de espera”.De esta manera podemos garantizar una altura actual constante toda vez que el aparato no se mueva permanentemente.¿Por qué tengo que calibrar siempre la altura actual?Como para determinar la altura actual utilizamos la presión atmosférica barométrica, los cambios constantes de la misma llevan a cambios en la altura actual. Para compensar estas modificaciones permanentes y para alcanzar una precisión de 1 metro en los datos actuales de la altura se le debería ingresar al SIGMA ROX 8.1 una altura de referencia antes de cada partida.
